Galway Open

At the recent Galway Open competition in Calasanctius College, Oranmore, the judoka of Oranmore Judo Club performed with style and skill; Eireann Murphy, Bronze; Sylvia Bandura, Bronze; Nicole Duffy, Bronze, Aisling Duffy, Silver;  Patrick McGrath, Silver; Richard Murphy, Two Gold. Luke Murphy retired injured. Fair Play; Well done!

Oranmore Judo Club is proud of all who took part. All the clubs who participated appreciated the venue, the Oranmore town environment and location and all those who hosted the tournament; thanks to ye all, you know who you are.

Oranmore’s Competitions Coach, Richard Murphy won all his fights by Ippon to take Gold in Derry at the weekend, beating British Open Champion Robert Morrow to the top spot. Congratulations! That’s Golds in the Irish Open, the Irish Masters Open and now the Northern Ireland Open.
